Meet The Pastor

Hello! My name is Pastor Doug Kuster.  I wanted to give you a chance to get to know me a little better.  I became a Christian in 1991 and grew in my faith at a rapid pace which led me to where I am now.  I have a strong hunger for God and greatly desire to minister His Word.  My heart is in Worship, but my devotion is the Word.  Preaching for me is like breathing; it's what makes me tick.  In fact, I really can't imagine doing anything else at all.  I am very proud of our Church and am honored to serve as their Shepherd.  I try to minister greatly in a heart of love and compassion, and I have a tearful heart for the lost.  Though I love to preach, I get a great amount of personal reward out of teaching the Word.  I believe strongly that teaching is more important than preaching.  Preaching is for the lost but teaching is for the saved, to make disciples of all men, so that we all become mature in our faith.  If your would like to come to a church that offers an atmosphere of love, worship, and truth you are always welcome.  Come be a part of the flock - we'd love to have you.

As far as my family, let's see... I have a wonderfully blessed family which I can say is only God given because I know that I couldn't of done such a wonderful job myself.  Trisha, my wife of nearly 15 years, is beautiful, intelligent, blessed, and anointed.  She is my sunshine and without her I would be severely challenged in this role.  She is my right hand, my left foot, and my personal secretary all rolled into one.  She serves in so many areas within our church I really couldn't even count them! (well I could but I don't want to give her a big head)  No, seriously, she serves mostly as Worship Leader, Sunday School teacher, and Activities Director.  She is one anointed lady and once you hear her voice, you will see what I mean.  My wife and I have three daughters.  Jennifer is my 23 year old step-daughter who is also very beautiful and greatly gifted like her mother.  J.P. and Jennifer have a beautiful daughter, Jubilee, and son Joey.  Our second daughter, Mariah, is a spunky nine year old who also loves the Lord.  And last, but not least, is our little seven year old, Trinity.  She has a very sweet disposition and was just what our family needed to complete it.

I hope that you feel like you know us a little better and we invite you to come out and join us any time so we can get to know you as well!! - God Bless - Pastor Doug
